Recall Warning! Puppy Nylabone Starter Kits May Contain Salmonella

Puppy Nylabone Starter Kit lot has been recalled.

The FDA has issued a recall for one lot of Puppy Nylabone Starter Kits because they could be contaminated with Salmonella. The company that makes the dog treats, TFH Publications, Inc. / Nylabone Products from Neptune, New Jersey is recalling their 1.69 oz Puppy Starter Kit dog chews. These packages were distributed throughout Canada, the United States, and through one US online mail order distributing facility.

Salmonella contamination could affect dogs that eat the chews or humans who handle them.

The recalled packages of Puppy Nylabone Starter Kits have the following information on the backs: Lot #21935, UPC 0-18214-81291-3, and an expiration date of 3/28/18.

Routine testing by TFH Publications, Inc. / Nylabone Products detected Salmonella in one lot of products, leading to the recall. No illnesses of dogs or people have been reported so far.

If you have a Puppy Nylabone Starter Kit with the above identification numbers, return the unused portion to the place you purchased it from for a full refund.
